Bio: Architect, Ph.D. in Architecture at the Lisbon School of Architecture in June 2017, with the following research topic: “Architectural Rehabilitation, Sustainability and Design”. Vice President of APCor - Portuguese Colour Association (2019-2020), member of ECD - Environmental Colour Design Group, and Colour and Light Research Group. Her current research projects are “Sustainable Architectural Rehabilitation”, and “Colour and Design”. Ana Paula is the founder and architect of “RBD.APP - Arquitectos”. She has participated in numerous architectural exhibitions and her work has been referenced and reviewed in magazines, professional journals and books. Ana Paula was a consultant to the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, USA. She has designed in co-authoring with RBD large public buildings, including the Museum of the Presidency of the Republic of Portugal, the Expansion of the Library of the Faculty of Law, the Rehabilitation and Expansion of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, and the Rehabilitation of the Cathedral of Portalegre. Ana Paula is the author of several interior designs and furniture, including the liturgical furniture for the Cathedral of Portalegre. She has received 42 awards and honors. APP has written 5 books, the last one being “Architecture in Extreme Contexts”..
